Don't know if I got fired or I quit today. :rofl2: Punched in at 12:30 and went to my work area. Started going through the UPS and FedX orders that came in earlier. Tom didn't do them. :shakes head: Hanna (service desk dept. head) came back around 1 to get the orders that I was still working on. Hanna asked me to put a mask on. I replied back that I refuse. The look on her face was priceless. As this was the first time someone ever challenged her. She said that she has to go tell Zack (assist. store manager who is pretty cool). Zack showed up around 1:30. He pleated with me to put a mask on. I told him that I refuse. And said that I've had covid back in Jan. of 20. Been vaxxed, plus a flu shot. Why should I have have to wear a mask when our customers don't. He didn't have an answer. He said that I have to punch out and go. I said OK. :D I'll log off of everything and go. Which I did.

I didn't really feel like working tonight anyway. When I walked in. My area looked like a bomb went off. Tom came in at 6am and didn't do much all day. :shakes head: There is a 1,500 piece RDC trailer that needs unloaded tonight. That is a ball busting job that will suck the soul out of you. Boy, did I leave them in a jam. :rofl2: Brad's off all week, and Tom goes home at 2:30. :rofl2:

I've been planning on quitting anyway. Just was the timing of it. If I have to have surgery. That would have been it right there. If not, I planning on giving my 2 week notice on Dec 1st. This just made it that much sooner. Wifey wants to spend Christmas in Colorado this year with the kids there. Home Depot has a policy of if you take Christmas off, You have to work New Year's. but in my dept. We never work those days anyway. :icon14: I can schedule one or the other one, but not both. Brad is taking 6 weeks off FMLA because his wife is pregnant. With me gone. It is really going to screw thing up. :rofl2:

Planning on going in tomorrow and talk to them. Going to tell them that I was going to give my 2 weeks notice next week, but you's can have it now. :tup:

Hopefully he's a good guy and will help fix it. He backed into me while at a red light. Big Tundra; didn't see me. I was a full car length back. No dash cam tho :ugh:

We're going to try and avoid insurance if possible. Taking it to a high end body shop in the morning. I told him I could help out of he takes responsibility - I literally have a hood ready to install.

It could have been much worse. His hitch was huge. Missed the Z completely. He was angling to back into another lane so his back driver bumper got me. I have audio of his confession along with a witness present. And more pics later. I'm hopeful but cautious.
