Morning all. Rough week so far, is it Friday yet?? I think I need to start planning for early retirement...

Gotta survive today and tomorrow. 12 meetings combined for work. 10care completely useless time wasters. And then Susan's family is coming over for a BBQ this weekend. Going to smoke a pork shoulder and some pork bellies. I'm thinking of putting a Carolina mopping sauce on the shoulder. And making a ChaSui style rub for the belly.

Gotta love the 'let's have a meeting just because we can' BS. :shakes head::shakes head:

I'm glad we don't have those any more. We had a PhD (post hole digger) that would pause every 3 words while speaking and talk down to everyone. I didn't care for her much, she would rehash everything that was said every 5 minutes. :icon14: (So what you are saying...) Gad... how did she ever get a PhD?

Speaking of meetings, a buddy at work told me that CTO responsible for letting me go joined the weekly project meeting yesterday. Screaming why the project has taken longer than the 30 day delivery he promised. Lmao. Hes looking for a scapegoat before he gets dressed down

Before work. Looked at the radar. Didn't show anything until about 4:30. So I took the bike to work. At lunch time, looked again. It showed about 3:30 for rain. Punch out and the power goes off. Getting a heavy down pour and lightening. Think I'll wait before I leave work.

Having ZERO responsibilities and worries about work feels AMAZING! Even when I was "off" I still had a million things in the back of my mind concerning work. It's like a huge burden off my shoulders. Contemplating on a way to not working again...
