Reminder for all you to be careful and KEEP IT ON THE TRACK
GTO crashed at 135mph.
What Happens When You Crash A GTO At 135 MPH - LSX TV Forums Luckily this guy being the ******* he was....was lucky to hit a car without anybody in it. I had a G37 try to race me the other day on a side road 30mph speed limit with tons of potholes. I was behind him at the light and the douche with his GIRLFRIEND in the car drove like a moron. Just a reminder keep it off the street there are innocent people who dont deserve to suffer if anything goes wrong. Just take a look at how bad the damage is, you can barely notice the car. I used to be BIG into the car scene. I would be out almost every night with my Z. When I realized how many of those people just wanted to drag race I cut myself off from those people. Be safe. |

There are so many options out there to get this **** out of your system that there really is no excuse.
Seriously. Everyone is reasonably close to a strip or an autox event. There is no reason to possibly kill somoene who is just trying to get from A to B simply because you are FKNGOINSOOOFAST. |
Great post and 100%. I've done some stupid sh#$ in my life and lucky to have lived through it. Tracks are more fun, don't need to sweat the police either

Nice find & post blue! :tiphat: |
Thanks, blue; I've been blasted for giving the same advice to my fellow 370Z.com posters. I don't care, 'cause it's the good intentions that matters, and I'll keep warning the younger ones--and some not-so-young ones who do it: Speed kills. Also, running thru' red lights, not making stops and/or yielding as necessary, etc. Human lives are at stake, with the collateral damage to other people's property as well. The thrilling scenes in "The Fast & The Furious" and other hot pursuit action scenes are controlled and staged (i.e. movie producers coordinate the scenes with mayors, governors, police authorities, etc.)

"Don't call me 'sir'; I work for a living!" Ha! It may elicit a joke or two, but its hard reality is very serious.

yeah street racing is definitely just asking for it. good point with the "it's how you crash" comment blue. most people aren't given that luxury as wrecks are typically loss of control or just plain running into someone. these kids were VERY lucky in every regard, especially the lack of life threatening injuries as well as dodging a manslaughter charge due to the cavalier being empty.
i'll get a lead foot once in a while and maybe even see 3 digits, but i don't do it near other cars and keep it short and sweet. my need for the thrill has lessened a lot as i've gotten older, and i'm definitely a lot more careful too. even the fact that i try to be smart about it does not excuse the fact that in doing this, i am being stupid. |
I think I'll slow down quite a bit when I turn 25, got a long way to go though ;)
|
damn didn't realize you were that young with all of those mods done lol. wish my income was better already. working at a fairly new company ATM, was offered the job to help it grow. gotta go slow though cuz our capital is non-existent. hopefully within the year i'll be able to have some fun :D
|
I'm not, just f'ing with you guys. Had you going though didnt I? HAHHA
|
i didn't think so haha. whore

Figures they would be blocking the forum that contains the article. Gotta love work systems. Guess I will read it later. Keeping the racing on the track and off the street it really good advice.
