Thanks for the suggestions guys. I took a chisel to it for a minute. Then I borrowed a 30 mm 12 pt socket and removed the driveshaft to get it out of the way. Hammered on a socket over the rounded edges and chiseling slag and the impact gun made quick work of it. The passenger side should be about an hour job after the driver side experience
![]() I can see why book rate is $2K at the dealer and $1300 for the local shop. There are several individual items that can potentially be a big pita. But I don't feel like it was a particularly difficult job. With the right tools. The real takeaway is I need better wrenches. And that's gonna be expensive ![]()
