No, I got internet. The MoCa light isn't on, on the modem. The MoCa is for my TiVo, which sends the signs to the 3 other tv's. And is for Netflix too.

Wifey finally got through to talk to someone. They can't send anyone out until next Tuesday. :mad: Thinking the modem/router is bad.

Got a janky laptop or tablet laying around you can run to the big screen?

if that is a standalone MoCa adapter, can you try it in a different port on the back of the gateway, if available? ?

If you had a roku stick, you plug it directly into the back of the tv and it runs off the internet. It's got a netflix button built right into the remote

Nope. I have an idea that it's the modem/router. They only last about 2 yrs here. I've gone through 3 already. :shakes head:

Do they allow you to bring your own modem? You could grab a Motorola surfboard for cheap online and would just need to call them and read them the Mac address of the device to be authorized. Then you could get a router as well. You'd have way better signal and strength throughout the compound as well.

Found me a nail in a tire today on the Murano. Headed down to the tire shack to get it plugged. All went well until I get called up to pay the $20. This young gal hollers across their office asking me what my name is. I wave at my mouth to signal that I am a no-speaky kind of guy.

She smiles and then walks closer to me and starts doing sign language. I had to laugh then because I don’t understand that either. So as the only sign I knew was to hold both my arms out in front of me and start humping like a dog, I went for it...

I don’t think some of those people thought it was all that funny except a couple of guys that were sitting out in the lobby laughed quite a bit.

Anyhow I guess I better start taking some on-line tutorials for some real sign language so I can go back there as she was quite a nice-un.
