Curtis Ohio. It's just east of Toledo. Then I had go to another site in Ohio to get a trailer of stuff, take it back to Curtic, load a broke junk azz Deere skidsteer and drag that back to the shop. I was told it was a "take this guy to the site and pick up the guy who quit and come straight home." :ugh2:

I'm taking today off. After the weekend then that road trip I need it :rofl2:

I hear you. Rain came in last night, dropped 20 degrees in a couple minutes. It'll be relatively pleasant for the next few days, a bit chilly at night.

So wifey and I took my parents out to dinner last evening for Father’s Day, (less crowded than Sunday or the weekend).

My dad was in a good mood and was pretty talkative and was telling us stories about my grandpa from back in the day. The waiter was at our table and my dad’s talking about how his dad was the go to guy for fixing everyone’s tractors in the surrounding farms, and ice boxes, early fridges etc, and the waiter politely excuses himself after about 3 minutes in the middle of my dad’s story.

So, a few minutes later he comes to check on us and my dad just picks up immediately where he left off without missing a beat, it was fvcking hilarious, he was gonna tell this dude, and us, this story with no Fvcks given. I gave the waiter a I’m sorry glance followed immediately by a you better stay and fvcking listen politely if you know what’s good for you look right after.

It was pretty cool listening to my dad reminiscing about his time growing up on the farm back in the 40’s. He’s getting more talkative in his old age, he used to be a damn mute.

Car is finally back home. Gonna get under it later to investigate the bolt holding the shifter arm in place. See if it has loosened at all. Hope everyone is doing good.
