The thought was on my mind AFTER it was towed to their shop. Should have just seized the mofo.

I'm sure is damage. Only had 74K miles. Super pissed. Just makes me cringe knowing the piston rings were scratching against the cylinder walls and cams taco banging with sandpaper.

Compression test + leak down will show how much damage has been done. But still... If i was expecting major engine maintenance at 500K miles, now I will expect it at 200-300K miles. With Covid, we are rarely driving. So even with a free 2-3 year extended warranty... not going to do squat.

Ordered the brainiac kit and electronics package. Also ordered a t510 model Samsung tab a 10.1 tablet. Will have to root it when it arrives. And may take a whack at programming the board radensb made to get all the software taken care of so I can just start ripping apart the dash when we get to the meet. Can't wait to get rid of the shittastic touring touchscreen garbage.

Most likely. I'll probably set up a split screen toggle. Upper half will have ecutek stuff. Bottom half cna be standard android stuff. Also want to put an oil pressure sensor in so I can get readings on that.

How is the quality of their plastic bezel pieces? I remember seeing some v1 models and they looked 3d printed. Something tells me they would look better if they were wrapped in the same material as the cubby cover

I was going to ask you about oil pressure sensor also. You might want to install aftermarket oxygen sensors also. Ecutek reads off the OEM sensors and they're highly inaccurate. Seb did a video on this.

Been throwing disc since the late 90s. Got my first ace today with 7 witnesses. It was a 188 foot putter on Hole 9 at Zilker

I'll take some photos when the stuff arrives. Wouldn't be shocked if they're still just 3d printed parts.

You would probably need something like this to interface with the tablet and then an extra bung in your exhaust to install the aem sensor
