So the 2 of 3 packages that didn't get delivered yesterday have status that says "bar code unreadable delivery delayed until next business day". Currently, one of them shows as delivered (no evidence of that on my doorbell camera) and the other one says it is now out for delivery. C'mon FedEx. Usually it's UPS jerking me around; FedEx is usually on point.

Agreed! Bullfrog is in no man's land and so a lot less traffic. Page or Wahweap is the busiest of the landings. I haven't been to Powel in ten years or more. I am pretty excited about it.

At least you didn't have to track a package from Iowa to Guam, to Hawaii, to SF, to Indy, to Pittsburgh, to Brownsville, to home. :shakes head: And that was for a Redding neck bushing die for reloading. :shakes head:

A couple of yrs back. We rented a 75ft house boat and took it about 60 miles down stream from Bullfrog. What we caught, we ate that night. Had a blast until we returned and had to fill up the gas tanks on the house boat. That was $2,500.

Took the motorhome down to Page. Parked the motorhome on the beach at Lone Rock Beach. The water was about 20 yards away from the motorhome. At night, there was who we called "the generator nazi". The sucker would start at 10pm every night on his quad. And go up and down the beach telling people to shut off their generators. :shakes head: It was over 100F during the day. Night wasn't much better.

I don't get it nobody is sleeping anyway because it is too dang hot.

I would launch at Whaweap and then run all the way up to Rainbow Bridge or further. I would have to fill up at Dangling Rope to make the trip back. My gas tank held 50 gallons!

Well golly bob... Toyota dealer just called me and gave me back a deposit I had put down on a new car for the wife about 3 months ago... Said Toyota cant get chips to build cars, so any and all special orders are cancelled...

That saves me about $45k. Hot damn...

(I bet they hate having to make those kinda calls..)

My mom bought her new toyota a few weeks ago and just took whatever config was coming off the boat, happened to be the color and package she wanted. Finally shows up tomorrow.

Problem is that was part of my master plan...

I was going to get her a new car and then a month later come home with a new Supra for $55k for me...If she said anything, I would just turn on my puppy dog eyes and say, “but Baby, you got a new car......”

So I guess I really saved $100k... :ugh2:
