Morning friends, we're heading towards the weekend. The somewhat frantic pace here is sure making the time pass quickly.

Weekend plans - oil change in the Z, lube the turbo, finish chainsaw repairs (part arrived), take down a half fallen tree in the back yard, mow the lawn, and if I have time, replace the transmission cooler lines on the truck.

Happy Friday's Eve! It is gonna be another picture perfect weather day here again. To bad I have to work inside and I have no windows in my office LOL. I can't tell you how excited I am as it looks like the Z will be finished up soon. I realized I need to get some e90 or e85 like ASAP. Got track events planned for the first two weeks in May. I will be thrilled just to do parade laps around the track. I am like a little kid and Christmas is a week away. I bet I only slept five hours. I am looking forward to see more pictures on Instagram and getting that phone call that she is ready for pickup. Yawl have a great day and stay safe and sanitary. :driving: :happydance:

I hope to do the oil change on the Z and perform the Rusty mod for more storage. If the weather is reasonable, I'm gonna sit on the back deck, smoke a cigar and watch the world go by.

Hey everybody :hello:

Nice to see you, Bunk :tiphat:

Grandpa fell and is in the hospital. Thankfully no injuries. Just there to make sure the blood thinners don't mess with him. Gonna head over there and relieve Dad in about 20 min.

Looked around online and a decent one from '69 to '72..theyre going for anywhere between 12k-25k... sheesh!

Bunk, glad to see your back!
I’ve been watching the car market closely for the past couple of years, and all that 70s and 80s stuff is really hot especially the import stuff. Even the 70s era Japanese motorcycles are bringing big $$
I thought that with the shut down of the country and so many people unemployed that the market would go down but NOOOOOOO
Even the real estate market is going crazy. Don’t know where all of this money is coming from, but it’s out there.

In the back of the car, right behind the seats, is a piece of styrofoam that if you cut the small ends off, you can remove it and have more storage. I'll take a pic, unless Rusty beats me to it.

Pretty shocking how much people are willing to pay for them. I think a junky vw restore is in order!
My dad had a Honda CB550 that I used to sneak out of the garage after school when he wasnt home. My mom made him sell it. :ugh2:

I had a chit load of '70's motorcycles. One of the ones I should have kept was a Yammie TZ 350 2 stroke twin. It was a factory race bike.

My brother is 11 yrs older than me. He taught me how to ride at the age of 8.
