I just assume every job I DIY is going to have some step that I can't accomplish with my knowledge or tools. So I usually don't even bother :icon17:

When I actually do work on one of the cars, I just plan for it to be down for months (or years) at a time depending on the job

Just the rear bumper, and the lower part of the tail gate. The rear bumper is because of chitty paint job and scrapping it on rocks. The tail gate is from hauling rocks and stones.

I don't want to go to work today. The one truck canceled yesterday, and is coming today. So now I will have 2 trucks of the some today. :shakes head: And I'm limited on room. :shakes head:

Can't believe the prices for plywood. And it's going to go up even more. :shakes head:

I'm guessing will will see a lot more homes built with foam sheeting where it is not code now. Not really a bad thing as it boosts the R value just make sure the first floor is brick. If it's vinyl you can break in with a razor knife

Reminds me of the story of the 3 little pigs. Not happening.

Towards the end of my stint in construction, we saw a lot of this kind of thing in PA. My dad commented to me "any thief wanting to break in here should avoid the door. It's the only rigid part of the house. Pick a wall, run through that!"

Hope all of you are doing well today. The weather has cleared here and it's gorgeous out.

I thought the economy was "battered!" Isn't that why Congress spent as much on coronanal stimulus (oh hi Zoren!) as it cost to fight World War Two, adjusted for inflation?

$43 for a sheet of osb. Maybe the Govt should step into this price gouging scheme.
