Hahahahaha. That's something I never would have imagined from meeting her at Madwi's.

I've worked on some of those cars. :shakes head: Tell them half up front and the rest when finished. And they still didn't have money. :shakes head:

Loves it. Enjoys cooking in general too, which is good because if it were up to me, we'd eat pan seared oven finished chicken breasts every day, with broccoli and a russet potato as a side. Possible variation as sales at Giant permit.

She on the other hand made turkey enchiladas last night with slow cooked black beans and onions, grilled veggies, and habanero lime tortilla shells. Night before was Hawaiian chicken, and prior to that was stuffed pork chops with a pesto glaze.

 It's a house lol. And I'm the one whose paying :owned:

I pay them $69 to send out a plumber. They give me a quote for their portion of the work (I'll do all the gyp board demo and repair). I pay them in full after their work is completed.

Looks like we're going to run new lines to the upstairs master bath/shower/lavatory/toilet, upstairs guest bath/lavatory/toilet, and downstairs kitchen. Since I don't want to tear any holes in the kitchen, we're going to tear the siding off the house and go in from the back side of the sink. That siding needs to be replaced anyway so just tack on some new hardyboard costs too :shakes head:

It seems like it was just yesterday. You can take away all my toys and it wouldn't bother me too much. If I lost my wife I would be in shambles. I love her more than anything.

John always fixed the car and let them pay on time. We were always super busy the first 6 days of the month (gubmint checks came on the first) and then super slow the rest of the month. :icon14:

He had been in the hood for decades. No one every broke into the shop and it was rare when someone's tools walked away. When tools did 'disappear', either the parents' brought them back, holding onto the 'appropriator' by the ear or the cops were bringing them back from the pawn shop. :shakes head:

Nothing more than honesty, respect, trust and a sprinkling of charity is all we need!!!
