First job was a car hop at a root beer stand... $.50 an hour @ 14
Second: flipping burgers at Smaks (kinda like BK & MickeyD's, gone now)
Third: Delivering the KC Star from a guys pickup truck. Froze my azz off in the winter...

I worked some PT jobs while on active duty to make a couple of extra bucks. Military paychecks in the 70s & 80s didn't go very far... :eek:
