Serious stuff (something that I don’t do well) this time.

Many of you have followed my sad plight of the woes of throat cancer.

I had 6 weeks of radiation with my head bolted to a table, then I endured several complicated surgeries where a lot of my throat was removed.

Well today I got kicked once more and found out that the fugg’n cancer is back yet again.

Now I have to go through Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy to try to buy some more time in this big world...

It sucks.

Now here is the public service announcement part...

For those of you that have young children, make sure you get them the HPV vaccine when they are about 12 years old to make sure they don’t have to go through what I am going through.

HPV is a serious cancer causer not to be overlooked.

We did / do. Fvck Cancer!

That's horrible Eric. I'm with Rusty, we're praying for you, but that's such a punch in the gut. I don't know what to say.

I can weld just about anything with the right gas. If you can, weld with MIG and gas. Flux core is dirty and the weld isn't as nice. Takes practice to make it look nice. The only upside to flux core is that you don't need gas most of the time.

Miller makes a good machine. Also get a good cart that will hold a gas bottle. If you don't get a good cart. You will be kicking yourself later, and hating the cart.

Gas bottles. I have 3 that I lease for 5 years at a time. CO2 for carbon steel, Tri Mix for stainless steel, and Argon for aluminum. You can buy the bottles out right if you want to. But if the bottle or valve goes bad. You're stuck with it.

I really wish you were closer, I need some **** welded and I’m paranoid about getting it done right. :eekdance:

If it doesn't sound like hot garbage, you're doing it wrong. No racecar for you.

It’s even funnier when it’s your Audi making godawful screeching sounds coming to a stop. The looks from onlookers are priceless.

It’s even funnier when it goes to the dealership for an oil change and we have to tell them don’t fvcking touch the brakes or wheels, it’s supposed to sound like that...bc race car. :icon17:

Fvck man, I’m so sorry to hear this, I really thought you were out of the woods finally. I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Jesus Eric. Will ya just turn immortal already from the bacon grease being ingested daily? Let us know if we can help out in any way possible.
