Most people on this site are glad to help someone learn to fish but they're not going to hand feed the fish to them. Do some homework before asking questions.

That's a bit dramatic. Some text on the internet is equivalent to holding you down and punching you in the face? Are you one of those people who was never bullied as a kid?
Come back when you've asked a question that hasn't been asked and answered 1000 times already for ***** sake

I'm actually quite confused.
Quick scan of history shows he started many thread this year with very basic questions, but many were politely and efficiently answered. DBA rotor thread generated some back and forth, but ended a while ago.... I don't know why he wants to stir things up. Maybe he's once again lonely and just want to talk to someone. Note: He seems to be an older person (he said he owned a 240z "way back in the days")...just putting into context that we aren't talking to a high school or college kiddo.

Ok. Now that you're gotten it off your chest, I hope you feel better.

In defense of some of the noobs asking the repetative questions. The search function on this site sucks

I've learned the best way to look up questions that have probably already been asked - is to use google with the 'QUESTION I'M ASKING + the370z.com' at the end - to try to find older threads; seems to work the best way. If you can't find your answer - then I would start a new thread about it.
Also - if you look at FB groups for the Z or any car forum - I swear the SAME 15 questions come up OVER and OVER again - so when questions related to exhausts, FBOs in general or FI come up - it just feels like a simple search would answer the question instead of adding to the already tons of threads that are out there. |
