A Google mesh router system is what jar, madwi, and myself use. I run 4 in my house and get full signal from the front porch all the way out to the detached garage, 2nd story, and down the block.

I'm using an eero system from Amazon, I've got 3 devices that cover my house pretty good. It was a little cheaper than the Google mesh system, but was highly recommended by my IT son-in-law.
