I went from having those 2 muscle cars to a 1980 Datsun B210 hatchback... talk about night and day That's when I started my first real job and I needed something practical to get me to work which was 50 miles up the nj turnpike. I swore the gas gauge was broke on it as it never moved like my Dodges lmao

Mom had a Plymouth Sport Fury III with a 440. Loved that car when I was a kid.

Back in the late 70s I had a late-60s Dodge Dart GTS (gold with black bumblebee stripe). It was some kind of 340 - huge 4-bbl carb, cast iron headers, dual-point distributor, etc. Great suspension for back then. And a decent sized back seat.

As for cars, my best friend’s parents had a 67 Pontiac Bonneville wagon with a 421ci. and factory tri power. There’s nothing like the sound of 3 duces sucking air@ wot
