Looks like the quote came back a little over $2K so they are commencing repairs. My dad is happy because he can usually get 400K miles on his vehicles - this one is a 2014 Rogue with 220K on it.

This is mostly true. They do lube the poles, but actually it's just make it easier for Zoren to keister them.
