Hi Rusty apparently this wont work on my trailer as it has a leaf springs. This thing only work with torsion type of trailers.

It would only raise my good tire but wont lift the flat one. It would have been convenient. I guess back to Daytona yellow. I just hate to bring extra weight on the back of my truck.

Do you park your rig on pavement or on yard grass?

They said parking on grass degrade the tires faster? Any truth about this?

It will work. I just raised one tire the other day when I was working on my trailer brakes.

Grass/ dirt. No issues seen. The only thing I don't like it the moisture can get trapped underneath and cause some frame rusting. You must keep the frame painted and the rusting at bay.
The trailer must be used though. It can't sit there for 6 to 12 months. Not good for the tires.

Ok was just reading the reviews at Amazon. I’ll probably try to use 2x4 to test it out. If it does work I’ll buy the trailer plus ramp.

Its ok to raise it loaded with the car right? Its a hustle to unload just to to tire change.

You need 2 - 2x6's nailed together to get the trailer up high enough to change the other axle's tire.

Yup sprayed the frame with anti corrosion spray. I plan to have the trailer tuned and checked before I travel again to the Dragon this October.

Im getting jitters at work! Too much stress with covids. We had multiple deaths last week. Mentally affects me.

Fluid Film. A lot of the Power Wagon guys use this stuff for corrosion protection.

Ok good to know...will make a 2 2x6 stacked like ladder steps for easy rolling of the tire.
