August 25th is the 10 hour surgery. They said that after they cut open the side of my throat and remove the cancery stuff, they will use a 5” x 5” square of flesh off of my right forearm to make a new Epiglottis. They said I will stay in a sleep for about 5 days in intensive care and then progress to the regular care. Eventually 2 months of rehab to learn to speak and eat...

Without doubt it’s going to be a rough road but your daddy didn’t raise a wuss ! YOU GOT THIS BROTHER
Also great to read about Deb’s cancer not spreading, that’s going to make her treatment a bit easier on her
