The idea is so new I havent set any yet. I was thinking like Oct. 10-whenever. If vacation is approved I will have Oct 9-18 off so anytime during that block works for me. My schedule gives me 3 day weekends one week and 4 day weekends the next so if a different weekend works for everyone I can make it happen on my end. I dont want to go too close to Nov. as snow may hit and all the leaves will be dead and fallen.

The Grand River, Wabasis Lake, Morgan lake (Loads of Northern Pike and where I caught my personal best 48"er) and the Rouge River are a couple to google. Not far from the house either.

Not sure I'll have the gear for pike. Might have to go with trout or smallmouth or whatever won't bite through my line lol

The rogue is where we checked out the dam and had breakfast. Decent for little rainbows and browns. The steelhead might be in the river too around that time. Those get large and fun to fight.

Good Thursday Morning all. 2 1/2" of rain yesterday here at the house. Cold front came in last night so today's high is just 67* with a 30% of rain. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come weather wise. We have not had a winter here in Austin for quite some time. But this being 2020 I should be careful what I wish for. Have a good one guys. Stay Safe, Stay Positive and Keep Washing Those Hands.
