And it broke down crane day. Something is not working correctly and they have the boom stuck 80 out. Can't push it out fully and cannot get it to retract.

IT group has been playing with joining us to a domain. Yesterday, they broke my account pretty badly and attempted to fix it by creating me a new one. Little did they realize they'd inadvertently deleted all my locally stored data (pretty much a **** ton of records and accumulated knowledge). Came into work today, took 3.5 hours for them to get their crap together, restore my account, and finally I rejoin the ranks of the productive.

Wtf guys.

Second coat went much better. Turned air pressure down some and adjusted flow to be slower.

Da fuq? If creating a new domain is that difficult, then I am in a completely wrong line of work.

I assume they generated a new domain and didn't realize your data was stored locally. So when they created a new profile for you, it loaded a blank slate technically. All they'd need to do is backup your old profile and reload it onto the new one with the active domain.

Or just use VDI/User mapped drives like the rest of the technological world.

You have to remember that the guy doing this used to be a brake operator who changed roles in the early 80s, and who cobbled us together a network in the early days of the internet. He has generally managed to keep things running with a strange mixture of dark sorcery, ritualistic mutilations, and actual science, and at this point is trying to modernize us; but he's 70, preparing to retire, and definitely does not look at the possible implications of what he's doing with the thoroughness he sometimes should.

I'd hire you in a heartbeat, partly because you're competent, partly because I'd love to see your expression as you trace the miles of ethernet cables suspended in our rafters, and tracing them to the various hubs and routers Rod has hidden throughout the facility.

It's like the Frank pipe x10000.

Yeah, thats why id hire lein to help out. :icon17: I fully understand the dark sorcery and rituals needed to be performed on the second dark moon while all the HDD lights sync up and flash as one on the server. Only then shall the switch be turned to ON.

I'm very resourceful with swearing at things until they start working again.
