Morning all! Turning into a surprisingly good day very abruptly! May have solved my personnel issue. Huge win for me, this has occupied way too much of my time. How's life on your sides?

buried with work and body is sore, but golfing today and Saturday. Happy to just be able to get outside. And starting to get excited to see everyone up at Scott's place next weekend.

Oh, you are accepting my offer to work for you for 6 figures. Thanks!

On that note, lets play how many safety violations, dumb operator ideas and how long the part would stick to that table once the cutter touches it.

Susan is already studying the beers she will have at Perrin and which ones she wants to bring back. I plan to bring my sous vide and pick up a few thick steaks to cook. And maybe a few racks of ribs we can throw in your smoker for Friday. Also grabbed a case of local beers from around here to trade with the guys. My goal is to hopefully just lounge around on Friday and relax after the long drive.

Did I tell you about the time at my old shop that a veteran machinist put a large cylinder on a grinding table, counting on the magnetic table to hold the cylinder while removing .005 material in a single pass?

The cylinder flew past 2 other machinists and embedded itself in the concrete wall beside them. Anyone hit would've been killed. Had to fire the machinist. 35 years of experience...

Grinders are scary machines! The concrete wall in front of the grinders at school looked like it came from Mogadishu. At the shop we made the rings for the navigational Gyroscopic rotors, we'd use the centerless surface grinder for OD dia. finishing. I watched a new guy try to take a giant bite and it shattered both wheels and shot the part through the roof. :icon17: Fuckin daylight shining in the shop from the hole. :roflpuke2:

We also did sheetmetal work and put square pieces on the lathe... The wall on both sides of the machine and the ceiling were covered with what we called ninja stars lol
