I don't disagree with anything you have said about racism, but conversation for Blacks is much greater than racism in the way you describe. It is magnified by being oppressed, marginalized and treated as inhuman. Do you ever see pictures of non-Blacks depicted as animals. Blacks are often depicted as monkeys and Apes. I understand your point and do not condone racism Black on White or White on Black, that said a White person can change their geography and said racism goes away it is not so for Black person. Furthermore White people have access to jobs, wealth and opportunity for success at a much hire rate than Blacks. Yes, many of us are more successful today than ever and access to many things have widen be we are still no where near being equal. Just take a look at Motorsports to keep it real. How many Black drivers do you know that are racing at the highest level? There isn't a shortage of outstanding Black drivers just access to sponsors. Of the Black drivers that are running at the the highest levels not one of them is of dark skin. Oh yes if even within the Black race here in America and many other countries Blacks with lighter skin are shown more favor and is a cause of inter-racial prejudice as well. But I digress, the conversation cannot be just about prejudice without understanding, grasping and owning our history and how all of it born out what we are experiencing today. We can't just say get over it that happened 300 years ago or that the 1968 Civil Rights Movement are enough. We need to continue to reconcile our past and present and continue to struggle forward.
