Been on the phone waiting to talk to someone at Fleetwood RV. Been on hold for 45 minutes. Started out as called #7. Me down to caller #3 now.

I would guess that since the 'renters' took out the damage insurance, the RV rental company will reimburse Rusty for the repair, the challenge is having the $9K upfront to bail the RV out of the body shop.

All around a sucky deal....

Well, you can't legally buy them of course and if you have one that they have since deemed illegal, you're required to turn it in. My buddy (ex cop) has an arsenal, I'll have to get a list of what he has. I know he has a tactical rifle that shoots 338 Lapua. He's not turning that in.

Tell you what. You can buy my motorhome and live where ever you want then.

The engine repair is out of my pocket. The insurance is covering the body damage. I'm waiting for a quote from the body shop now. The renters is going to chit themselves when $1,500 comes out of their credit card.

The $9 grand was for the engine repair. The body damage I think will be around 5~6 grand.

A tactical rifle is just a bolt action. Wouldn't think that it would count.
