This is probably a dumb question but if I only lower my car 3/4in or so would I need an alignment immediately. Obviously it's better to have an alignment but

This is probably a dumb question but if I only lower my car 3/4in or so would I need an alignment immediately. Obviously it's better to have an alignment but how bad would it be to go without one for a little while since I am not planning on dropping it that much?
