The New “What did you do with your Z today” (with off topic replies) XXXVI

Would you like to know the secret ingredient to KFC seasoning? Copious amounts of MSG (mono sodium glutamate) which isn’t as bad for you as some think. It’s just Umami

Of their chicken skins if I could

Wow there was some muscle out tonight! First real summer day, 76F, sunny and the roads had all the toys out. Z got to get out of the garage and stretch her legs, turbo spooling is still such a joy to hear. She may or may not have had a few good runs when we went around the block.

What’s your spec? You mentioned turbo spooling. Please
Don’t tell me you have a screamer pipe as they sound like exhausts blowing on old Supras

Just read the thread. Yum. Have you recreated Big Mac Sauce? Helmanns Mayonaise is needed with French’s burger mustard and some Heinz ketchup

Do you mean open dump valve or an external waste fat that opens out under the car?

I don’t mind open dump valves. Had an HKS SSQV as well on my S13 with a Z32 Apexi Airfilter that would make a racket as well.

The HKS used to KISS before going Pssssssshhhhh

you tailor it to make the sauce you get in Big Macs. Because they do taste good. But if you are cooking it yourself, you need far bigger burger patties . Preferably home made patties

Don’t know how old you are, I’ve had deafening exhausts and 1.5 KW sound systems. Not sure I want to do that again. I mobile DJ’d with a 4KW sound system which has given me tinnitus . I don’t want a bone hard ride, not a lot of noise, I want comfort, I may fancy fitting a supercharger though

New shift knob is a success too. It sits high so its not a far reach from the wheel.

Im 42, I think. I removed the 8" subs I had because they were way too much for the Z. Surprised the coils arent too harsh, not a bad ride on full soft setting. Havent tried full hard setting yet.
