Pint, are you trying to buy or sell Tesla? If you are buying, you are better off dollar cost averaging, (buying a set amount at a certain time, like every 2 weeks or something like that). In the long run, you'll have more value over someone that buys a large amount once. If you are a small buyer, equity trades are never executed at the price you want, they get done at a price that makes the broker the most money. It's brokers that do crap like that give all brokers a bad name.

I sold it a week ago at 164% profit. I'm just watching it to see if it goes low again to jump back in and ride it up again. Had I done that before the two times I should have, I'd be sitting on 20k in a year.

I see. With the market being down, it's hard to figure out where to go next. Research is tough to do, Morningstar has the best (in my opinion) information, I look at 5 year performance over 1 year performance. It gives me the best idea of how a stock or fund performs.

When it comes time, look at FHA loans. Those are available at 0 down, but there can't be any repairs that have to be done on the house for them to approve it. It's a little more paperwork, but it would help you avoid the penalties on pulling money out of an IRA.

That's exactly my plan with FHA.

If you don't know the details first hand you may have been told a lie. Puppymill is the first thing folks say/post about breeders if they don't like them. I have a many a story on this issue. I have seen a puppy mill. It is the worst thing imaginable. That is not a term that should be used lightly.

Fair enough. What I know for sure is she came to us underweight, a bit sick, and with unclipped nails, all of which show a certain amount of neglect. I'm prepared to reduce the sock full of nickels to a bar of soap, should further evidence arise

I went for cruise yesterday evening with my work buddies. They're mostly into American muscle, but they appreciate my Z! One of them owns several cars, including two corvettes and I let him drive my Z after I did the stage 1 clutch and flywheel assembly mod and he was pleasantly surprised. Obviously it's no NA V8, but I could tell he was enjoying the drive. Twas a proud moment for me lol

Anyways, one guy came up with the path and it was amazing, especially since the weather was so nice. It was me, a Z, and 4 other corvettes comprising of the C5, C6, C7, and the new C8! I thought it was pretty funny how I stood out like a sore thumb and they all could kick my a$$, but it was enjoyable hanging with them.

Of course there's no good cruise w/o an issue, right? We took a break at a dam to chat a bit, but when we got back into our cars, mine wouldn't start. This was a little embarrassing since they wanted me to lead as I just modded my exhaust and they really liked the way it sounded. At first I thought it was an overheating issue, but my oil temp was fine, there were no other dash signs, and everything else seemed functional. I was about to "reset" the battery, but one of my co workers mentioned the clutch switch (I had no idea this existed) may not be triggered because the screen on the dash kept telling me to engage the clutch to start which I was obviously doing. I was fortunate to be surrounded by electrical and mechanical engineers lol. Basically the car wouldn't recognize the clutch being engaged fully, so it wouldn't allow the car to start as a safety measure. We didn't have the right tools to make the adjustment, so my co worker had to adjust it manually with his hands just for me to push-to-start. It worked and we continued our drive.

I didn't know this was a thing. Have you guys ever had this issue (no matter the car)? If it isn't manual, I'm assuming there's a brake switch because for automatic push-to-start vehicles you need to engage the break before starting. He's going to help me adjust it today after work. When I got home last night I was testing it out again and it wouldn't start, but pushing the clutch REALLY hard would work. Sounds like an adjustment issue. This was kind of a story/problem post.

yep, little switch on top and bottom of clutch assembly. It is just a little nut and the switch has threads on it to adjust position. RJM has some good pics in their instruction manual for installing their clutch pedal assembly.

HVAC guy came to our office this morning. Turns out the AC is toast

I am glad we don't own the building anymore. But I do feel bad for our landlord having to foot the bill at this time. They are super nice and doing ok from the conversations I have had with them (operating at a loss currently but finances still in good shape at this time). They own and operate a gymnastics facility and several day care facilities, which I don't expect will be back to normal capacity anytime soon.

Keep repping bunk for me, everyone

He helped facilitate a second local transaction for me for the Fujimura strut bar last week. It should be here later today. I gave him a few bucks for his troubles, but I still think I owe him and his a nice steak dinner sometime
