during the ground war in the gulf, we were moving in formation pretty good, our lead tanks firing, cobra helicopters hovering a few meters above us firing. The whole formation stopped because we ran into some trenches.
There was a Bradley Fighting Vehicle about 20 meters to my right. I saw their ramp drop, thinking they were gonna deploy some infantry. Nope. The track commander came out with a shovel, and a folding lawn chair with a hole cut in the mesh. He dug a shallow hole, set the lawn chair above it, sat down, light a cigar, proceeded to take a dump, and read the paper...in the middle of an engagement...
