I really have no idea if there’s a possibility if this could have been covid19 or not. Only an accurate antibody test will tell for sure and they’re not available yet. FDA just dropped the hammer on all these bs antibody tests that flooded the market recently when they loosened their efficacy protocols like a month ago. No ****, what did they think would happen, we live in a capitalist society, companies and people will try o make a buck on anything. That’s why common sense regulations on important stuff is vital.

I have seen on the news that quite a few folks under age 60 have reported diarrhea and vomiting and stomach flu symptoms and were diagnosed with covid, remember I also had the dry scratchy cough for a week on my 4th week as well, and the chills and sweats and hot flashes too. At this point the only thing I know is who knows but it could be a possibility. I also got sick about three days after a supply run so there’s that as well.

I actually posted my experience bc I wanted to see if anyone here might have someone they know with covid that had some similar symptoms. Plus I kinda figured y’all would get a kick out of reading about my shitty experience too. :icon23:

No I get it. I have a form of Herpes because I’ve had chicken pox and then got shingles a few years ago

They have some fantastic reports (BBC World has been my go-to for decades), but lately they get too bleeding heart from time to time.

Problem is, there is just enough truth, and just enough of a lie in almost every report from almost every agency, to be able to rely on anything these days!

But anyone who trusts one sole source for news anymore is being brain washed. Doesn't matter what that source is.

Especially in an election year for you. You have some outlets which are clearly paid advertising for the Republican party, and others which are unabashedly Democratic supporters. There are some which are lite versions of the above, but just when you think they have come around to honest journalism, they do something bone-headed. Not just showing some stupid report or asinine guest, but get caught faking things. No matter how small, that's not on.

How can you truly make such a monumental decision as electing your next government without knowing the independent facts?

And sorry to those who don't believe this but I wager to say that awareness of some of these facts are not the exclusive realm of those in the country (not referring to the USA exclusively here by any means, as every nations' press is biased inward regardless of where they lean politically). Sometimes you need to step back to truly see the forest for the trees.

But yeah, there is no difference between a national broadcaster (publicly owned and controlled by the government of the day) and a private one which seeks to play to their support base that keeps advertisers paying and protects them if evert they are accused of being in the wrong.

Have you ever watched Max Headroom Show? It was a tv show back in the day. It dealt with tv news in the future. That show is holding true to today's news. In the show, the news only cared about rating. With high rating, came big money. Which is what today's news is doing. They are hoping that the more shocking the lead story is. The more viewers they will get. The higher the rating. The more money they can charge for ads. It's all about money.
