China is getting a 2nd whammy. Just as they are going back to work and start to produce items. Oversea customers are cancelling orders.

Chinese are typically obedient people (they may not want to be, but they mostly know what the consequences of not doing as the government instructs can be). So when they are locked in their homes for 7+ weeks for the greater good, they accept it. They don’t congregate on beaches or in pubs. And when they come out of 2 months forced hibernation, they will know better than to allow it to come back through carelessness. Or to permit foreigners to bring it in. I’m not sure we are that smart. China will be back on its feet while we on this continent continue to make mistake after mistake (as we already have in the nearly 3 months that our governments and their scientific advisors have known about the disease) in addressing this. By delaying as long as we have done, not having a decisive and consistent response, and pondering a return to business as usual far to soon, we will be allowing the Chinese tiger to become the undisputed largest economy in the world on the back side of this crisis. |

The truth is slowly coming out of China. Families have to wait for hours to pick up family members who have been cremated. Stacks of urns sitting outside of funeral home.

Knew China’s count was fake even when they were reporting it. Now China just stops reporting it entirely. One thing CCP had been real successful at....keeping international focus on Wuhan, not many are questioning infections in other major cities like Beijing, Shanghai, etc. China’s current tally is around 80k infected total....yea....sure....almost....just missing a zero or two lol |
I guess there are 8 strains of the virus. The west cost has the closest strain from Wuhan, with our ground zero being Washington state, and as you go east, its mutated several times.
I spoke to one of our Cardiologists yesterday. He was pretty optimistic about this pandemic. He got a little carried away when we were talking, so I didnt understand half the terminology that he used..lol |
My daughter, her roommate, and my buddy were showing some symptoms - but no fever. All were told to wait 72 hrs - if symptoms got worse or they developed a fever, then they would be tested for nCoV.
I still have a scratchy throat but the sinuses are getting a little better. Still no fever. All four of us have had minor allergy problems during pollen season but none us of have ever had it this bad. I'm wondering if we might have relatively minor cases of nCoV. Or maybe it's just that the pollen is worse this year. |
