Not really. Just reporting on what going on. Why be blind to it. Just look at past history. The 1919 Spanish Flu. Kill millions. This could kill even more. MSM is starting to report more about the virus now.

Grocery stores still have plenty of rice, beans, etc.

I live in Tornado Alley and like to keep a few weeks worth of food and water stashed away. Over the last few years, I've bumped that up to about a two months supply. I'm not buying in to all the gloom and doom (yet) but I'm no expert on epidemics so I'm starting to stock even more. Better safe than sorry.

Edit: You can find a lot of slightly used camping equipment (stoves, lanterns, heaters, etc) at garages sales for cheap. Hard to go wrong with Coleman brand equipment - a friend and I have quite a lot of Coleman stuff from the 1950s-1990s that still works great and spare parts are easy to find.

I've been snowed in, had the power go out, had to boil water. It's no fun when chit runs low. I have about 2 months supply on hand.

Grocery stores in some countries are empty. People panic and start mass buying. This is one of the reasons I like to have a stock on hand.

After getting the initial few weeks supply (not a lot for one adult and two dogs), it's been a bag of beans here, some salt there, a box of Mason jars every now and then, etc. I haven't caused any dips in the supply.

I also keep a good supply of batteries for flashlights and radios.

I have a couple containers of Mountain House. The stuff is pretty tasty. I use it on my hunting trips. I ordered some from Patriot Supply to try out. I have a couple bags of beans and rice to add to the other stuff. Also have ramon noddles and cup of soups.

I ordered some long term emergency food from My Patriot Supply on the 14th. I got an e-mail from them.

"We want to thank you again for your recent order and give you an update on its status. We understand good communication is important to you.

My Patriot Supply continues to experience 10x normal demand for our preparedness products. This continues to cause a shipping delay for approximately 70% of orders.

For most orders being delayed, including yours, they’re taking about 7-10 days to ship. Our teams across our multiple warehouses are working around the clock to produce, pack, and ship our shelf-stable food products as quickly as possible.

In a small handful of cases, orders may take up to 14 days before shipping. We apologize for this delay and thank you for your patience as we navigate these unprecedented times.

As you probably have heard by now, My Patriot Supply is known for being the industry leader in delivery speed, and we still are. We promise we’re working hard to get back to normal 2-day delivery as quickly as possible."

I've talked to others. And other suppliers are totally sold out
I was on Amazon a few weeks ago trying to order some hand sanitizer for my brother. Seems all the sellers had a 1 month shipping time window

This is obvious to a lot of people but some just don't get it: The time to plan for a catastrophe is before it happens. You can't plan for everything but a good supply of water, food, heat, and light will get you through most emergencies. You don't have to become a SHTF prepper, just enough to get you and your family through the aftermath of tornadoes, ice storms, quakes, etc. Depending on how bad you think things can get, you might want to keep a few guns and some ammo, too. If you have trees around your house, a chain saw and fuel could come in handy to remove them from your house and/or cut firewood for heat.

Good afternoon. This is not the first year that I am interested in the world of cyber competition and everything related to making money through computer games. Perhaps this is really a profitable business, because even the famous football player Antoine Griezmann created an e-sports organization. I even wanted to become a member of the game team, but a sudden pandemic of the coronavirus prevented me. I noticed that coronavirus affects business and the global economy more. Many more people die from the flu every year. I am sure that the Chinese authorities simply created a great panic in the world.

That is true, at this point, but the number of new nCoV cases outside China is going up at an increasing rate (see https://gisanddata.maps.arcgis.com/a...23467b48e9ecf6). I can't predict how bad it will or will not get, but it's not over.
