You could also be retired if some guys who will remain nameless didn't keep plucking your money tree.

AT&T Office of The President just notified me that $179.02 has been credited to my mobile account for a $0.00 balance. I told them thanks and closed the complaint with the BBB.
For DirecTV, on the other hand, I told the BBB that I was unsatisfied with their proposed resolution and made the sure the complaint was marked as unresolved instead of closed

Boring is boring. Got nothing done on not my job today watching another crew struggle to drill a hole. They hit a slit pocket at 25' and had trouble stopping it from leaking into the hole. Left it open and full of some polymer overnight. Something something might be able to pour it in the morning. Then they have 3 more of the same holes in the same place. I might have to watch this chit show for a couple more days.

Replaced toilet fill valve and the shutoff valve at the wall. Main shutoff valve at meter wouldn't shut off all the way but it was a slow drip so I didn't make too big of a mess. Called water company about leaking valve and they said it was "probably stripped" - whatever that means - and they'd put it on the list of things to fix. Asked if we were talking days, or weeks, or months. They have no idea.
