Yea. Texted my dad. Got no response back. Tomorrow will be Thanksgiving with the gfs family though. So I've got them at least.

My sister thought that my dad was a monster until the day he died. Then told everyone on how great he was after he died.

Family feels so distant to me now that I'll maybe only shed a tear when my dog dies. The rest can drop dead and I might be caught at a bar celebrating. I have Susan and that's all I need to be happy.

Since all the experts hang out on this thread (and I sincerely mean that), I have a question about the quaife diff. When installed in a non base model, the passenger side stub axle has to be cut (modified). I found a thread on here where one guy was having problems with his modified passenger side stub axle popping out.
How do you guys think the car would react if the passenger side stub axle popped out at high speed and under boosted power?

I'm just wondering if that's what could have caused my car to immediately go into a spin when I was doing the third gear pull. The guy I sold the quaife to has had the passenger side stub axle pop out twice on him.

Here's a pic of my stock VLSD axle stubs and the modded Z1 axle stub. The OS Giken has to use the modded stub too. You can see that the snap ring location is different between the left and right sides also.

If it's not the stub axle then I would assume maybe it's a failed snap ring? Quaife warranties their diffs for life, I wonder if it might not be a bad idea to send it to them and see if it's a warranty issue.
