Playing around with the Power Wagon and chasing down the noise. At first I thought it was the cam and lifters on cylinders #7 & #8 going bad. But now is seems to be coming from the A/C compressor. I've used my stethoscope to help pin point the noise. The noise is traveling through the motor at different rpms. So it shows up in different locations.

Just above idle, the A/C compressor is the loudest. At idle, the noise is in back of the motor.

I checked the charge on the A/C and it was low. So I added a can. Still have the noise, but I'm now thinking it's the A/c compressor for sure.

My hearing is not what it used to be.

We were planning on heading to FL tomorrow at 10am. We changed our plan and are going over to Macon GA for the night and then head down I-75 on Wed after the storm has passed

A total azz beat down... can't imagine what 24 hours of 160+ mph (thats faster than EW's Z ever thought of going) winds is doing to those islands. So sad.

Put another offer down on a house. Going to start research on Coilovers. Plan to buy camber arms and the short shifter this winter for next seasons modification trip to Rustys. He just doesn't know it yet.
