Hi & Bi Folks; got in late last night,because of a roadcall on fire truck

After eating & awaiting class to begin; got a text saying there may be an issue with an Engine overheating....I said yes; a free pass out of this class

Then I didn’t get home till almost midnight

6 am. 83*, heat index 90*. People are already losing their minds. Saw a shirtless homeless guy wandering down the middle of a 4 lane non-median road, yelling ab the heat and Jaysus. Which was more or less normal when I lived in the Chi but not something I've seen out here in the burbs.

Morning all! Few hours at the shop and then I head to Maine with the wife. We'll probably get as far as northern Mass. tonight and then finish out the drive tomorrow morning. Heading to a little island near south Freeport in the Casco Bay, just for an extended weekend. We'll drive back on Monday.

How's everyone here? As a public service announcement, I must warn you all that EW's peace and love meter is almost full, at which point it turns to hate which manifests as toxic gas. We're expecting a Category 5 later today.
