Regardless of brand; they need to be accurate & functioning properly...my 3/8” is a Proto & 1/2” is Snap-On....both are just click type.
Still skittish of the electronic ones; as when I do a torque + angle,,,I just mark the fasteners & use a long ratchet or pull handle to make additional turns
