In case anyone was wondering, we do talk about you while you are on the slab in OR. :icon17:

When I had my colonoscopy and endoscopy they gave me demerol. The nurse that helped with the procedure was a beautiful asian. Before they put me under I was thinking about how hot she was. When the proceduere was over I asked her how long I was out for. She said "you weren't out, you were talking to me the whole time" To this day I wonder what I was saying to her.

They use good drugs & the weird part is that the same doctor goes in both ends  :wtf2:

I stayed awake during my ACL surgery on my left knee. I had a spinal block and they gave me some good drugs. The gas passer and I were having a big time rocking out during surgery. They were playing excellent music, Rock and Roll baby.

Lots of employees go to another hospital for treatments. I choose to use our services because if I stuck my bare *** out at my co-workers normally I would have to go to HR. Not so when I am a patient :icon17: Streaker running the halls on level 5!

Yea, they talk about you when you are under. They measure on how big you are with a tape measure. Female nurses are real nasty about talking about your body when you are on the table. Even worse if he or she is well endowed. Had a neighbor who was a nurse that worked in OR. She got some loose screws in her head. Some of the funnest chit that I ever heard would come out of her mouth was about the OR. :rofl2:

You know what really grinds my gears? having a system down and then getting asked for an ETA of when it will be fixed. I try so hard to not spout off some snarky comment.

Holy hell it is raining hard.

Tell them "it's fixed when it's fixed". Or "The more times you stop me to answer your stupid questions, the longer it will take me". "I got 3 speeds. 1. I'm working fast as I can. 2. If you stop asking when it will be done. I'll get done sooner. 3. If you think you can do it faster. It's ALL our's. I'm going to take a chit. See you later.".
