Morning all! I'm drinking my near covefe (decaf) and trying to handle 1) a mounting load of paperwork associated with our customer changing drawing revs 2x in 2 days; 2) the need for an inspection fixture to captivate a large sheet metal part; 3) hardware which may have been wrongly specced by the customer's engineers, and was special ordered from China, and if it is wrong will necessitate yet another drawing change; and 4) pushing the customers buyer to update purchase orders to list the correct rev of the goods they are purchasing from us to match what has changed 2x in 2 days, and will likely change again!

tl;dr - where's Friday hiding?!

All that sounds really familiar. We aren't building our 'old' system because we don't have parts for the enclosure, we are building enclosures for the 'new' system, but the company isn't going to buy any carts until next year....:eekdance:

well i was buying an exhaust but some new expenses came up like over the weekend i decided i should drop about 800-1000 on a new goalie mask as i am nursing my 4th concussion since last thanksgiving. i feel that is a bit higher up on the list at the moment than an exhaust lol

also, i am planning to go to mexico in November with friends and just want a bunch of money on hand for that.

Years ago when I was working for Fruehauf. We got a shipment of stainless steel 10 ga. sheet from China. The sheet was to get tig welded on both sides. I'm welding the first pieces of sheet coming off the shipment. Weld the first side. Start to pick up the piece with a crane to flip over and weld the other side. The sheets start to delaminate at the weld. :eek: :eek: :eek: QC starts to check random pieces of the order. They all failed inspection. That just about bankrupt Fruehauf for failing to meet schedule. :eek: Never seen anything like that.

I thought 2k for my motordyne was a hefty price...
5k is a supercharger lol

yea but that exhaust adds more power to a GTR than a supercharger on a Z lol

plus cant beat weight savings of titanium.
