Landed in Paris safely a few hours ago! Slept about as well as predicted - had a large guy sitting next to me overflowing into my seat. Not cool, literally - plane didn't have independent climate controls so I had to get a stewardess to change the settings for my entire section about the time i sweated through my shirt.

Paris is intriguing so far! Lot of neat buildings. Found a local supermarket, coffee brewing and food cooking now.

Well...................the wifey had enough of me.

Made me get hearing aids.

Said she was tired of saying everything twice.

Have hearing loss in the higher ranges. Plus the ringing that never stops. Most women voices are close to those ranges and blend in with the ringing. The suckers ain't cheap.

Reality is, I didn't hear her at all. Nothing, Notta, Zip, Zilch. I also have the ringing in the ears, etc.
