Yeah, traction control was your right foot. :driving:

Still is. I haven't changed a bit. Rolling into the throttle, etc. That's how I drive. I don't just stab the throttle. Not happening.

One of the first things I learned was to roll into the throttle. Flooring it just means tons of tire hop and unneeded tread wear.

Not in a boosted car. It means bad things may or may not happen like looking at oncoming traffic face to face. Been there done that.

That’s how I do it too. I don’t like the nanny controlling a booster car.

Me neither. I hate it. If I forget to turn factory traction control off it reminds me on the first throttle cut.

That can still happen. Mine steps out if I just lightly roll into it at low speeds in 3rd.

Yup. I know how to handle throttle/brake/steering when the car gets sloppy. What I don’t know how to handle is trying to compensate for the stupid traction control system doing what it thinks is best for a given situation.

I don't have that issue. I can go WOT in third with my tire size and type. I am on 17psi of boost setting. The tires are amazing.

First off, check back in with that statement when it’s below 50*F. I can do WOT in third if running thru the gears. The situation I’m talking about is if I’m cursing at 30-35mph and I roll into the throttle. As soon as the turbo spoils up it knocks the tires lose. Scared the **** out of me the first time cuz I was in my neighborhood. Driving a high power turbo car takes some getting used to. And I’m nowhere close to your power level.

What size and type are those?

I forgot to mention the tires needed to be warm. I have not knocked the tires of yet. It will step out to the right a little bit or squirm. Nothing major. I am running R888r's on 11.5 in. rims. Size is 325/30/19. Just a smidge on the wide side. All up under the fenders.

Even Brian at MA-Motorsports couldn't believe how well it did. He was expecting it to violently knock the tires off like yours. It does not. If it does cut loose it is very controllable. Thank Hotrodz for pointing me toward these tires. They are amazing.
