Most times it's a muscle sprain, and the muscle goes tight. Go see a bone breaker and get the electric pads on your back. It will help loosen up the muscles. Get yourself some Bayer Back and Body aspirin. That's what I take for when my back flares up. The best stuff I found yet.

maybe if I go upstairs to ER, I can get a good shot of Dilaudid and go for a crunchy hippie mind trip for a few hours.

Yep for muscle relaxation. I joke about dilaudid because it is a very powerful narcotic that is very habit forming but it sure does kill the pain.
