$3.49 for 93 here. After filling the Fits tank all Winter the z made me look at the numbers going up and up on the screen lol.

It’s all tax that makes gas expensive.

I think I paid $2.69 for 89, which is the mid grade I ran in the truck. All the forums say that 5.3L GM V8 likes 89 better than 87. 93, which I run in the G and the wife’s Lexus, is $2.79ish.

Haven’t decided what grade I’m going to run in the new truck. Need to do some googling.

ugh i had to do the Z, GTR, and Buick last weekend it hurt haha

i still use the Buick for hockey so it needed a hit as well.

also, the Z and GTR take so much gas lol damn you big tanks and my heavy foot.

yea believe it or not PA has higher gas tax than Cali.

59 cents in PA and 55 cents in cali.

I was driving the Passport for the past few weeks. It only gets regular unleaded, but is a gas guzzler at 12-15 mpg, so the lower cost to fuel it is offset by its thirstiness.

Yup, taxes. But you would think that the cost to transport the fuel to different states (vs just a few miles to the stations from our refineries) would cost more than what we would pay in taxes, yet alot of states pay close to if not less than a dollar/gal than we do..

Similar here in Texas. There are places in northern Texas that pay less than we do in Houston even though the refineries are here.

The gas tax repeal that was on the ballot last year (and lost), had a provision where gas taxes couldnt be raised without voter approval. But sneaky AG reworded the bill to make it seem like if the bill passed there would be ZERO money for roads (like anything is ever spent on them anyway). My gullible fellow citizens complain to high heaven about high costs, yet vote against lowering them.. smh..
