I used my big floor jack to lower and raise the diff. I had no problem doing mine, EW, and JL's.

The hood I'm picking up has a crack in it ... seller just told me and added photos to the thread
Appears to be a single longish crack and only in the resin. I expect it will be a relatively easy repair unless the fibers are damaged also.

Good job.
Make sure there is nothing sticking up, and no burr's in the hole. Anything in there WILL cause you a headache. Put lots of anti-seize in the hole. And put the bushing in the freezer over night. When you start to install the bushing. Make sure it goes in straight. You may have to take a hammer to tilt it. When pulling the bushing in. And the all thread gets tight. You can use a hammer to tap on the bushing/ The vibrations from tapping on it will help the bushing going in.

Anyone who has worked with metal has to get x-rays around the eyes before getting a MRI. The MRI will make the metal hot and will pull on it. If you have everything around the eyes. You could go blind.
