If you mean the vent on top of the oil tank, then you have too much oil in the tank. Extract 5-6 oz

I think I need to bleed the system. I filled it to 1/2" below the top of the reservoir

Yup, that's it. I did it everytime I flew and never lost it. Lol. I was also told to do it whenever you're like x number of miles away from where you last calibrated.
