Won’t bother me too much. Generator runs fine. I’ll probably work in the garage and see about getting tires mounted

Only had to work 8 hrs. last night was able to come home and sleep at night

even got 7hrs.
Tonight will be another 16 as should be tomorrow night as well ! By the time I get off this rotation I'll have been on for 15 days straight w/ 5-16 hr. shifts all in the last 6 days

July 1st. Can't come soon enough.

I remember at my old company we were transitioning to a new terminal operating system that we wrote inhouse. I was in charge of getting all the new hardware deployed and stress testing the software. Working 12+ hour days for weeks with no days off taken. My boss told me to take some time off, wouldnt even charge me PTO for that time off. I told him no, we need to get this done. A little time after that, I realized that I had gotten into a bad groove that scared me... my mentor had literally died of a heart attack during that project. I took a month off after that.

Did that for a stretch myself, in addition to trying to handle my boss's rampant dishonesty. Ended up going to donate blood, and having a pre-hypertension level blood pressure. That, in part, lead to my decision to find employment elsewhere.

I was hired during construction of the power plant. During construction, I was working 7- 12s. Then during start up and commissioning. It was 16 hr days for 6 months. Only had one day a month off. And here I am wanting to do another start up and commissioning. 6 months of work would be over $200,000 plus per diem. And that would be around $100,000.
