Plastic bags, straws, paper receipts, exhausts, guns, cow farts, and the working man. Anybody else got something to add to this list.

If they'd ban liberals we'd be in great shape.

We need all types. The issue comes when we are lopsided all to the left or all to the right. Cali has been lopsided to the left for far too long. They just railroad their agenda down everyone's throats.

You can claim anything you spent year to date for 2018’
Your tool man should be able to print off a receipt of the amount you spent in 2018 & if you made othe solo purchases, you gotta keep up with all of that.
Just use a shoebox or something to toss your receipts in.
They generally give you a standard deduction of a certain amount & if you can exceed it with your tax deductible spending,,,then itemize your return.
As mentioned earlier, work boots, uniforms, safety glasses, tools, toolbox & I even used a percentage of my cellphone expense/ because used it at work for work.
Many other things to claim,,,but I’m currently 1/2 asleep still :icon14:

Rusty 01-11-2019 03:24 AM

I started with a hammer and chisel. But I didn't want to put marks in the pan. Had to buy a small pipe wrench to use on it. The smallest I had the other night was too fat.

The climate can make a big difference on performing different work tasks,,,that’s why I’m gonna be shooting for a climate controlled garage/workshop that will keep it in a mediocre temp zone...like 60-80 or 65-75

I don't wear long johns until it's about zero, and I have to work outside.

Had a foreman that kept telling us. The heat is in the tool. The more you work, the warmer you stay. :rofl2:

I should get a quote for finishing the garage but I really dont want to pay out the money for it. Not sure I would use it enough to justify the costs, probably just end up making it a nice place for mice to live. :icon17:

You’re more weather acclimated; I’m just cold natured...if temp drops in the 40’s & doesn’t get 60...union suits going on :wtf2:

This is for my personal use & gotta be comfy.
We’re spoiled at work with some badazz gas heaters; mounted about 16’ high & angled downward/ they will roast you if dialed up :eek:
We currently have 3 or 4 out of 12 inop & still plenty of warmth....just those roadcalls & unknown working conditions that they’re good for :ugh2:

jchammond 01-11-2019 04:07 AM

Madwi seen me layer up :ugh2: and then he’s outside in the snow without socks on :wtf2::icon17:

When I worked for Elliott. I had to work outside at times. Nothing like working outside in Maine or ND in the Jan and Feb. :shakes head: Had to dug tunnels in the snow to get to the equipment to work on it.

These are the real-deal...not overly bulky & very comfy.
I just don’t trust the trap door/ I’d rather button down :wtf2:
