I got some cheap King whetstones, but hate them. Way to soft. I think I dulled 1 of my knives more than sharpened it. I'll look into Arkansas diamond stones I guess.

Tinnitus would drive me insane at night if it was dead silent. I always need a fan or something making white noise in the background. 10 years of working concerts really did their number on me.....

To help with that. Cup your ears with the base of your palms and rest your fingers on the back of your head. Now put your index fingers over top of your middle fingers and repeatedly slide them off so they hit the back of your head. It should sound like a thrumming noise. Do this 10-20 times and you should notice the tinnitus go away for a few moments.

I've had a couple hearing tests. Same results. Being around noisy equipment all my life didn't help. When you have to wear ear plugs under ear muffs. You KNOW it's noisy.

Grocery shopping. More blizzards here. Bday planning. Car parts shipped. And cooked food.

Me too. Loud music when I was growing up and being near a flight line with F15's warming up before their sorties.

I only sign in to deliver reps, so I don’t see the total much.
