We have LMB here. My local go to lake before they closed used to have "wipers", a cross between Stripers and White bass, those were fun to catch.

Stripers are fun. Go to Lake Powell in Utah. Ever see a feeding boil? Looks like the water is boiling. Just throw your hook in it with anchovies on it. You'll get tired of reeling them in.

Yup, we have stripers here too.. i like to troll for them. Shoot, I like to troll period. Nothing like motoring around with a couple lines in tow, then BAM!! Drag starts screaming! I have a Colorado XT inflatable pontoon boat. Put a swivel mount under the seat, make a few rod holders that mount to the sides of the battery basket, and throw on a trolling motor.

Ran into many small mouth boils on lake St. Clair and all we had to is toss a crack bait in the middle and BAM fish on! Small mouth run a little smaller than large mouth but the fight is better, they come out of the water about 60% of the time
