I'm officially cold. Just came in from outside. Spent half hour out there. Our dumpster was full. They came and got it. When the truck driver pulled out. Some of the trash came out. I had to shovel it back in. And the temp is zero.

One of the reasons I don't have him stop here every week, I'd have my bill up around 5K again. I'm paying mine off with my refund.... I hope...:ugh2:

It is all about self control with the tool trucks. Only get what you gotta have
to do you job faster. Tool boxes don't make money, tools do. If you can store your tools under lock and key, you are good. You have to get over the new shiny stuff or you will be broke forever.

Looks like you guys will be back with highs in the 50s in a few days. Not bad for February.

Yeah, then back to seasonal weather.

I've got all the goodies to make the job easier & faster, I just ran out of room to store them.:eek:

At the moment, I'm at about a 50/50 mix between old Craftsman and Snap-on tools. That may change depending on the folks selling Craftsman tools and how they interpret the warranty. Since Sears is essentially out of business, I can't return all my Craftsman tools because I'm dissatisfied. My Snap-on guy will give me a few $$ on them in trade, but that cranks my truck account up...:shakes head::shakes head:

Besides, at my age, I probably need to think about not working on everyone else's cars. I've had too many people recently that think that just because I changed a light bulb, I'm responsible for their brakes running out... :shakes head::shakes head:

Help a friend out with one thing. Then he thinks you should to rebuild his motor for free and you buy all the parts for it. :icon14:

When I was still working at the plant. I used to see some guy on a motorcycle with a sidecar in the winter.

These people are hardcore. :rofl2:

Why I have stopped working on other folks cars years ago. They will take advantage of you. If I am working on something, nobody knows but my wife.

I was fixing a lot of people houses for a long time.. I finally realized the same thing... so I kinda dropped out of that... I don't even mention to people that I know how to do certain things anymore..

Not enough time in the day...

They all find out after the fact.

I broke my daughter for the most part of trying to get me to do things. I still help with the big stuff. The little stuff was killing me. :rofl2:

Yep. I refer all side jobs to my co-worker. He is a glutton for punishment and ******** drama.
