When my wife was teaching she had a student ( 5th grade ) show up with CHICKEN POX, had the office call the parent and parent she said that she knew, but didn't have a sitter, so she sent the kid off to school. :wtf: :gtfo2:

i really think people should have to pass a test and be evaluated before having kids. it would solve sooooooo many problems.

Chilling at the GF's waiting for the stupid ISP tech to arrive to look at the modem. Going to have the guy tone out all the Coax in the house and trace where each strand leads to. I also want him to get a network tech on the phone so we can trace the signal to the nearest node to see what degradation is had. No reason for the modem to be throwing codes stating a shakeback couldn't occur. To me, that implies the coax somewhere is either faulty or the node itself is sharting itself. Uplink and downlink both looked stable from the modem itself so it can't be a power frequency issue.

I called it! Degradation of the coax leading to the node. Tech had to make a ticket to dispatch a line crew to come fix it.
